Stepping into the largest Bridal Expo in Illinois as Vibe and Voyages was both exhilarating and humbling. As a boutique travel and event planning brand specializing in destination weddings, celebrations, and curated experiences, being surrounded by long-established wedding industry professionals was a powerful moment. It was exciting, overwhelming, and honest enough to bring moments of self reflection.
Walking into a space filled with companies that have been in the wedding and event planning industry for years made it easy to second guess our presence. More than once, the thought crossed my mind, Who do you think you are stepping into the ring with the big dogs?
But growth rarely happens in comfort.
The Journey Behind the Moment
The journey to that expo was shaped by learning, listening, and leaning into guidance. Along the way, we gained insight from industry professionals who were generous with their time, experience, and encouragement. Their willingness to share knowledge reminded us of a core belief at Vibe and Voyages. Success is not about competing for space, it is about being prepared to own it.
As a brand built on intention, connection, and experience, Vibe and Voyages was never meant to blend in. We were created to offer something different. Personalized planning, inclusive experiences, and a seamless blend of travel and event design that feels authentic, elevated, and memorable.

Our courage was fueled by our tribe. Sisters, friends, supporters, and even a few strangers who believed in the vision and affirmed the mission of Vibe and Voyages. That encouragement mattered.
But the execution would not have been possible without THE TEAM.
Their dedication, energy, and belief turned preparation into presence and ideas into impact. Watching my team, who are also my children, step confidently into roles as marketing professionals, design experts, and top tier cameramen was one of the most powerful moments of the entire experience.
At Vibe and Voyages, we do more than plan events and book travel. We build confidence. We create opportunities. We grow together. We gave each other pointers, pivoted when needed, and showed up fully. Everyone calls their team a dream team, but this truly was the team of my dreams.
Claiming Our Space in the Wedding Industry
Showing up at the Bridal Expo was not about proving Vibe and Voyages belonged in the room. It was about confirming that we do.
