Let's talk about that group chat.
You know the one.
Somebody sends pictures of a beautiful resort in Jamaica. Somebody else suggests Cancun. Now everybody's sending TikToks of swim-out suites, catamaran cruises, and rooftop dinners.
"I'm down!"
"Girl, I need a vacation!"
"Let's do it for my birthday!"
But the minute somebody says, "Okay, the deposit is $100," suddenly the group chat gets quiet.
Now somebody has to check their PTO. Somebody wants to change the destination. And the person who was the loudest about going has completely disappeared.
Sound familiar?

Here's something I've learned from planning travel since 2006: Stop waiting for everybody to agree.
You don't need 15 people to have an amazing vacation. Sometimes five committed friends are better than 15 people who can't make a decision.
Set the dates, establish a budget, and let the people who are serious about traveling move forward.
Everybody else can catch the next one!
